Short: Nice system & user-friendly minesweeper
Author: Olivier Fabre <off@free.fr>
Uploader: Olivier Fabre <off@free.fr>
Version: 1.2
Type: game/wb
Date: 25.11.1999
Requires: OS 3.0, 68020, some neurons (not too many).
The news :
- Better graphics
- Finaly fixed this nasty not-all-mines-are-displayed-when-you-lose bug
that could happen in certain situations
- Pause game
- System friendliness improvements ($VER string format, stack is
MEMF_PUBLIC, StackSwap() used)
- New (Glow)Icons
- Doc. corrected for v40 AmigaGuide
If your WB is set with a low number of colours it might be that the old gfx
set looked better.. Drop me a mail if you want different graphics (4 or
16M colours, big or small for hires...). Or the ability to open Boum on
any public screen... Or any other feature...
The (old) features:
- It's a minesweeper (yes, really)
- 3 levels of difficulty (number of mines)
- 3 sizes
- Real-Safe-Start(tm) (no mines under first click and around)
- It plays sounds if you want it to.
- It is user friendly since you don't have to go to a menu and select "Play
a bew game" to play, or click on that awful windows-looking sun button,
but only need to click anywhere in the game window. Plus, there is no
typo error in MY menues.
- It works under ECS, AGA and CGX/P96, as well as on hires screens (the
graphics are automatically halved vertically).
